New group for business called B.O.S.S to launch Sept. 25

Business Owners Sharing Solutions, or B.O.S.S, is a group developed by several organizations in Maryville. Executive Director of the Maryville Chamber of Commerce, Lily White, says the Chamber talked with community members to hear what they were looking for in an organization.

"One of the things we heard back a lot was that they wanted support and just kind of a network.  When you're starting a new business, it can feel really lonely.  You can feel like you're the only person in it or the only person that's kind of gone through what you're going through."

White adds the new organization will meet the fourth Wednesday of every month. 

"This September it will be September 25th at 7:30 in the Bank Midwest Community Room.  The only time that will change the day that we meet is around the holiday season, so we're only going to do one between November and December.  And then we'll change weeks.  We're planning on keeping it at the Bank Midwest Community Room and always from 7:30 to about 9:00."
